Amy Giacalone is a writer with an MFA from Columbia College, and a reproductive maverick who pulled off making three children out of just two pregnancies. Her work has been published in various literary journals and in Ghostly: An Anthology of Ghost Stories (Vintage UK). Her debut novel is on contract with TriQuarterly. She was a featured contributor in the Chicago Arts Grant LDOC series, which provided short stories to commuters, and she is the recipient of a first place Gold Circle Award for humor writing. She lives in a garden apartment in Chicago with her husband and kids, and as you can see, is one lucky duck.
